The point is - since ancient times, every new media didn't replace any of the older ones, they just added and endorsed each other. What is why we live in a really multi-medial environment nowadays. And no, "multimedia" is not a word for anything blinking and blaring stored on a cd-rom.  At least,  this should not be sort of a definition for this buzz-word, although it might have been reffered to you  this way one time or the other.

So what you need to promote a website nowadays is a multi-medial conception based on identifying elements for print, tv, and online, referring to brochures, news ads as well as screen commercials - depending on the focal points of the audience you want to reach.
